Breathed new life into a historical Hyde Park home with soft color, cozy fabrics & touches of gold.
Updated a historical home without adding a lot of embellishment- we wanted to let the architecture really shine. In the Living Room we brought in fresh classic furnishings in soft colors and comfortable fabrics and leathers to make a welcoming and wonderful place for our clients to relax and entertain. Our design for the Breakfast Room was light and airy like a summer day, just perfect for drinking a morning coffee. Our clients’ Dining Room with its large vintage table were made for entertaining- we added elegant upholstered chairs, a classic mirror, subtle wallpaper, divine window treatments, a custom area rug and a beautiful bench seat. Viola- the loveliest room for a dinner party! In the Foyer, we added a center hall table, a new chandelier, a custom bench with a mirror above, and a classic carpet runner to the stiars. Our clients can now relax and entertain in their beautifully updated home.
