Julie Anne did a 'whole home' project for us, and did a terrific shop steering the ship! She helped with all furnishings for our new master suite, and also helped freshen up other common living areas and our kids' rooms while still making them durable and kid-resistant. The result is a home that is fresh, classic, and exactly our style. She and Chandler are easy to work with, listen to our needs, can hear the word 'no' if I don't like something, and can incorporate existing pieces. My experience with Winding Lane Interiors has been excellent. Julie Anne is a pleasure to work with and makes an effort to get to know her clients and their preferences. Although she can do a full-service project, she's also great with just doing one element. For us, she did a 3-D layout of our family room, and solved some major space issues that we had been dealing with for a long time. One of her specialties is picking out colors. Her choices are a winner every time! Every person who comes into my house asks me about the color I painted my kitchen. It's a gorgeous and Julie Anne Baur deserves the credit!

My work with Julie Anne at Winding Lane Interiors was critical to helping my family feel at home in our new house. This is what I'd say about the experience:
Julie Anne is attentive: Though she has her own well-developed aesthetic, she has NO agenda. She is a listener, and wants very much to create the space that YOU want. In order to do that, she synthesizes what her client (me!) says to create a vision that I could not have come up with on my own, but am thrilled I get to live in each day.
Julie Anne works with the best sub-contractors: I relied on Winding Lane to put me in touch with the painters, carpenters, and handymen to interview for the job, and then relied on her to manage the process once they were chosen. Everyone we worked with through her recommendations was truly first rate. Though she would dismiss this idea, Julie Anne was truly my general contractor in my home renovation, and she managed it beautifully.
Julie Anne puts in the extra effort: So, we ordered a piece of furniture that seemed not exactly what we ordered. She immediately took over, and got the company to re-do the work. However, in order to do that, the company needed the piece sent back to the factory. Unfortunately, that would leave a gaping hole in our main room, right before we hosted a big event there. Though this was not her fault at all, and though she managed the process of making it right for us, she still felt badly about the missing furniture for our event. God love her, she purchased a temporary piece to fit right into our room for the event, to our great surprise (and relief).
In short, Julie Anne is the consummate professional. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is 100% worth the investment, and I'm speaking as a woman who is very frugal. She's the best!
